Boys and Girls Club of East Scarborough: Community Space Initiative

Boys and Girls Club of East Scarborough is a safe, accessible place where children and youth age 0 to 24 and their caregivers, from all cultural and economic backgrounds, can come to participate in social, recreational and educational programs that are designed to enhance their growth, personal development and potential as contributing members of society. With fifth-round YCF funding, Boys and Girls Club of East Scarborough, in collaboration with the Kingston-Galloway Space Expansion and Space Governance Committees, will develop a 9,000 sq. ft. expansion to their current space. With a goal to involve youth in the entire planning process alongside adult allies, this new space will focus on building the capacity of young people and community organizations to provide supports for underserved youth in the Kingston-Galloway neighbourhood.
