Board Biography

Robin Cardozo

Chief Executive Officer of The Ontario Trillium Foundation since 1999, Robin Cardozo leads one of Canada’s largest grant-making foundations in its mission to help build healthy and vibrant communities in Ontario. Since 1999, the Ontario Trillium Foundation has distributed $700 million to deserving charities and not-for-profits across Ontario.

Prior to joining the Foundation, Robin served as Vice President, Chief Operating Officer at the United Way of Greater Toronto.

Robin was born in Pakistan, and educated in Pakistan and in Britain. He is a chartered accountant; he serves on the advisory board of The Centre for Effective Philanthropy, based in Boston, and on several other boards and task forces.
